Need Pregnancy Help?

Abortion help

If you are pregnant and considering abortion, we can give you the pregnancy and abortion help that you need. A new Virginia law requires all women to get an ultrasound prior to receiving an abortion. Hospital ultrasounds and other pregnancy services are expensive, and that is why we provide free ultrasounds and abortion help. Our clinic is the only free provider of abdominal and vaginal ultrasounds in the northeastern Virginia area.

Ultrasounds were first used on pregnancies in the 1960s. Since then, they have become fairly standard procedure for all expectant mothers because it allows them to monitor their baby’s development and health throughout the pregnancy. Also, after about 20 weeks of pregnancy, the baby’s gender can be determined. Since a baby is born about every three seconds, they have become an extraordinarily common practice.

If you have not gotten that far and are just wondering “Am I pregnant?”, we provide in Norfolk pregnancy tests and in the surrounding area to help you answer the most basic questions before you start worrying about any further procedures. Once we have answered the first and most critical question, we can help you with ultrasound services as you need them, if it turns out you even need them at all. About 500,000 babies are born to teenage mothers each year, so if you are young and inexperienced with pregnancy and the signs of pregnancy, like cravings (which are caused by your body’s need for extra minerals and serotonin during pregnancy), one of our tests or ultrasounds can help you understand what is happening.

If you need a Virginia Beach ultrasound or abortion help in the Virginia Beach area, we may be able to assist you. If you simply want to meet the state’s new ultrasound requirement but do not otherwise need abortion help, we can provide you with a free ultrasound to get you through the process.
