Your body actually needs time to do this. You can keep repeating this process of high intensity workouts and rests until you feel that you are done for the day. If you are just starting exercising, you may need to exercise every other day or only once a week. Just listen to the signs that your body tells you. Don’t exercise if you are sore the next day. This means your body and muscles are still recovering.
